Our first Initiation ceremony of the year was carried out on Monday evening at our February Regular Meeting which ensured our candidate is now well and truly beginning his journey into freemasonry.
This was the first meeting for our ‘new team’ after our Installation meeting in January with each of the lodge officers putting on a fine show of ritual for us all to enjoy.
Our Festive Board was themed as usual with this month being our Burns Supper heralded in by our own resident piper and the Address to the Haggis duly executed before enjoying an excellent meal. We were delighted to welcome amongst us for dinner six young non-masons all of whom enjoyed the evening with a number expressing their interest in joining us at some time in the near future. Inviting these keen young men to join us for our festive board is a regular feature in Peace & Harmony which we have found introduces them into the camaraderie and friendship so abundant in the Craft, we look forward to their further engagement with us in the months ahead.
Our March meeting will be held on the 16th of the month and will be a Raising; if you would like to come along and enjoy the company of the lodge members just message this page for further details.
