Our first meeting of 2026 last evening was a Proclamation for our Worshipful Master who was continuing in the Chair for a consecutive year and an excellent evening it proved to be. With our APGM in attendance, the lodge was presented with our GOLD certificate for the MCF 2027 Festival, no small feat for a small lodge such as ours but it demonstrates the generosity of spirit within our members.
A hearty and warming festive board followed where once again a good sum of money was raised for our charitable activities from our raffles and donations along with the usual camaraderie to be found in our lodge. With a non-mason attending the dinner, who is now preparing for his Initiation in February, the lodge looks set once again for an excellent year ahead.
Our February meeting will therefore be an Initiation ceremony along with our Burns Supper where we will be welcoming a number of non-Masons to our festive board to join in the festivities.
